A seminar on “Goods & Service Tax (G.S.T)” was organized by IPA Nashik Chapter  to  celebrate its 6th Foundation Day on 7th July 2017 at Hotel Bon Vivant. The seminar aimed to celebrate the journey of IPA NC and to educate the audience about the current GST tax regime and its rules.

The evening started with the National Anthem followed by the Welcome Address by Mr. Pradeep Abad, Vice Chairman, IPA Nashik Chapter. Chairman Mr. Milind Shete welcomed the Guest Speaker and the audience. He summarized

IPA NC’s journey from Chapter formation to successful completion of 5 years and highlighted the activities of IPA being done at Chapter level and at the National level. He also indicated the planned future activities the new developments which would be initiated by IPA NC.

Mr. Nandu Tekade, a senior plumbing contractor, was felicitated by Guest Speaker CA. Dr. Sanjay Burad for his contribution in the plumbing field. Thereafter, the presentation of ISH 2018 & 23rd IPC promotional video was screened.

Guest Speaker CA. Dr. Sanjay Burad, an expert  on Indirect Taxes, began his presentation by explaining the basics the need for Goods & Service Tax (G.S.T) in our  country.  He  also  explained the tax regime framed by the Government for implementation and also stated various areas where appropriate rate of GST should be applied. He explained the registration process as well as discussed the impact on GST on the construction industry. He was then felicitated by Mr. Milind Shete.

The seminar was  highly  interactive  and  most  of the delegates participated in the Q&A session where qualitative information was exchanged and doubts cleared. Mr. Ravindra Jadhav, IPA Member proposed the Vote of thanks.
